ABOUT THE PLAYGROUND
BACKGROUND
ON THE
PLAYGROUND
The Athlete’s Playground is New Mexico’s Premier Strength and Conditioning and Sports-Performance facility. The Athlete’s Playground was created to fill New Mexico’s knowledge gap when it came to proper strength and conditioning and sports-performance training. Our focus is creating a link between proper education, knowledge, and training with safe and challenging exercises and workouts that are relative to each of our member’s goals and physical abilities. We wanted to provide a State-of-the-Art training facility that offers programs for everyone in the family.
For young athletes looking to take their performance to the next level and get quicker, stronger, and faster, we specialize in youth sports-performance training. These programs are designed to increase the speed, power, agility, strength, and quickness in your athlete while establishing the optimum amount of flexibility throughout the body and developing more confidence with each training session.
For those adults looking to step outside their normal routine, get out of the big box gyms cluttered with machines, and start moving while working out, YOU need to step into the future of fitness and leave the past behind. We offer functional strength and conditioning programs designed to increase range of motion, develop balance and stability, build lean muscle, lose excess body fat, and more. We offer several programs and classes that challenges the entire body in all of the right ways to help you perform at your best.

PLAYGROUND
Do not let the name of our facility intimidate you, confuse you, or fill your mind with superficial stereotypes. When you train here, we want to build and develop you like you are an athlete. Here at The Athlete’s Playground, we define an Athlete as a person; man, woman, boy, or girl, who is proficient in exercising, working out, playing sports, and participating in recreational activities that requires physical strength, cardiovascular endurance, good work ethic, self-discipline, and maintaining a healthy diet.
